Later, translated fiction including Tolstoy’s children’s books and short stories from Russian to Gujarati

Won the Sahitya Akademy award for her translation of Sunil Gangopadhayay’s novel Sei Samoy (Vol. 1) into Gujarati as "Nava Yugnu Parodh" in 2002
